There's no such thing as "unwanted".
Should Have Been Aborted is an autobiographical journey into the life of Emmy Award-winning creative professional and international speaker, Ryan Bomberger. Ryan was conceived in rape but adopted in love. A life that began in violence, and temporarily placed in foster care, has flourished in victory. Ryan grew up in a diverse family of fifteen in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was the first of ten children adopted and loved by two incredible parents who simply wanted to care for those that the world so easily discards.
Should Have Been Aborted is an intimate look at Ryan’s fascinating childhood, his near fatal struggles, and his life-altering spiritual transformation. It tells the story of love, marriage and hard-fought adoptions. Ryan’s factivism, through the Radiance Foundation (a nonprofit he and his wife Bethany created), led him to be denounced by the ACLU, feared by Planned Parenthood and sued by the NAACP.
And recently, his pursuit of finding his birthmom led to a connection he never thought was possible. Ryan was meant to be. Though he’s faced giants throughout his life, his story proves that triumph rises from tragedy.
